Every senior citizen resident of Balanga City who reaches the age of 90 gets P20,000 cash incentive from the city government.
“The giving of the cash incentive to our senior citizens is already in its 4th year”, said Councilor Benjie Merino who authored the ordinance. “We will also pass another ordinance to give P10,000 to our 80 -year old senior citizens, also funded by Balanga LGU “, he added.
“The national government gives P100,000 to Filipino centenarians. Merino said the City Government is also giving cash incentives to differently abled persons.
Meanwhile to help solo parents, they are accommodated as AICS and Tupad beneficiaries.
The tandem of Mayor Francis Garcia and Vice Mayor Vianca Venzon-Gozon with support from members of Sangguniang Panlungsod are genuinely concerned about the plight of senior citizens, PWDs, and solo parents.
